American Association of Christian Counselors
AACC equips clinical, pastoral, and lay care-givers with Biblical truth and psycho-social insights that ministers to hurting persons and helps them move to personal wholeness, interpersonal competence, mental stability, and spiritual maturity. You will be well served by their referral list of professionals in your area. AACC’s training materials are an integral part of Truth’s counseling efforts.

Exodus International
Exodus is the largest Christian referral and information ministry dealing with homosexual issues in our world today. In order to keep you informed of the worldwide ministries, we offer monthly newsletters, annual conferences, speaking engagements and, of course, web services. Exodus is your global resource that offers freedom through the love of Jesus Christ.

Exodus Youth believes there are real answers to these questions found in the gospel of Jesus Christ. God wants to show us His plan for our lives. NARTH
National Association for Research and Therapy of Homosexuality - Their function is to provide psychological understanding of the cause, treatment and behavior patterns associated with homosexuality, within the boundaries of a civil public dialogue.

PFOX
Parents and Friends of Ex-Gays & Gays (PFOX) is a national organization that supports families touched by homosexuality, advocates for the ex-gay community, and educates the public on sexual orientation.

Filters and Monitoring

Covenant Eyes
Internet Accountability with optional filtering through your accountability partner's administrative (AP) control. Monitors Internet use and reports to your AP (at no charge to them). Parents: monitor your children's use of the Internet. Men, women, churches, businesses: provide discipline and training in responsible use of the Internet.

Hedgebuilders A+Internet Filtering
HB/ A+ is a solid blocking filter with some AP reporting. A+ is a sub-server based system. All filtering takes place on the S4F servers, not on your computer. Every time you type in an Internet address, or click on a link to an Internet address, or type in a word to search for, the address or word you requested is routed past the S4F servers where it is checked against the S4F block list. Live In Programs

Pure Life Ministries
Pure Life deals with men who are bound in sexual sin...homosexuality, pornography, etc. They have 6-12 month live-in program for those struggling, as well as a home based program that lasts three months. You learn the importance of prayer, bible time, gratefulness, repentance, and mercy to others. This is a great place where the Lord sent me and I would love for others to know about.

Hope Quest--Trek Program
Hope Quest, under the leadership of Roy Blankenship and Woodstock Baptist Church, is an amazing program. Don't let their website fool you. I have personally seen this ministry, met is leaders, know Roy, and have taken a young man to the program; and his life was transformed. He needed this focused time away. Love In Action
Love in Action is a strong program that we endorse. LIA has a long history of helping individuals out of the bondage of sexual and relational brokenness and addictions. I personally know both former directors, and know many graduates of LIA that personally benefited from this intensive program. If you need a live in program, we encourage you to check LIA out for yourself.

Local Programs

Hope Remains Youth Ranch
Hope Remains provides hope and a second chance for hurting and troubled, At-Risk children and youth ages 5-17. Youth will learn and gain a new sense of confidence, responsibility, accountability, sensitivity to others and discipline in their conduct. Problems dealt with: Abuse; Depression; Suspension/Expulsion from School; Emotional Troubles; Rebellious/Defiant behavior; Anger Management.

Online Courses

Pure Online
Pure Online is aimed at being a first step for Christians with sex addictions, especially pornography. Through a partnership with LifeWay Christian Resources, the company offers an online Bible study to help men and women seek sexual purity one day at a time. Through streaming videos and downloadable workbooks, clients can, in private and complete confidentiality, begin the journey to freedom.

Reach Truth
Reach Truth, a ministry of Portland Fellowship, is a video driven 20 week online course in which you are assigned an online mentor. There is no fee for the program, but is donation based. The teachers on the program are PF's very own. Portland Fellowship has a long track record of help and healing from those affected by homosexuality.

Dirty Girls Ministries
Dirty Girls is a Christian anti-pornography ministry created to help women who struggle with pornography addiction. Dirty Girls was founded by author and speaker Crystal Renaud in February of 2009. Within just a matter of weeks, Crystal received over 300 surveys from women across the nation--proving not only can women be porn addicts, but the number of women who are so, is staggering.

Exodus has a place of encouragement for family members affected by homosexuality through an email prayer list. Living Hope Online Forums
Living Hope Ministries offers on-line forums for men, women, and youth desiring to overcome homosexuality. This safe and anonymous community allows healthy growth for young men and women, helping each other through their healing process. Living Hope also offers a forum for the family and friends of those struggling with homosexuality.

Brookwood’s Pastor Perry Duggar’s message on sex and sexuality—May 31, ’09. In the last ten minutes of the message he speaks of homosexuality, and utilizes pre-recorded filming of McKrae Game and Miranda Pettit. This an amazing message on sex and sexuality.

Healing For The Soul
Jayson Graves, M.MFT, is a Christian Psychotherapist specializing in Sexual Addictions Recovery and unwanted Same-Gender Attractions. Jayson’s primary counseling is via phone and teleconferencing for men, for wives, and for parents of same-gender strugglers in recovery worldwide. He is a member of Exodus International’s Board of Directors and of the AACC and SASH.

Janelle Hallman, MA, LPC
Janelle is a licensed professional counselor in Denver, Colorado specializing in female homosexuality and emotional dependencies. Without exaggeration, Janelle is today’s leader in female homosexuality, emotional dependency, or identity issues. We highly recommend her and her new book The Heart of Female Same-Sex Attraction.

Truth Ministry Staff is Available for Phone Counseling
If you are out of the area from Truth or another Exodus like ministry, then phone counseling may be your best bet. Make sure to interview a perspective counselor over the phone prior to an appointment. Many counselors, Christian or not, actually affirm homosexuality. Counselor fees range from $80 to $150 per hour, but often take insurance. Truth staff does phone counseling on a donation rate.
